2 Caribbean Samba for ercussion Ensembe Composed and Arranged by Kevin Tuck Leve of Difficuty: Grade 2-3 Number of ayers: 6 to12 Duration: 4-5 minutes (depending on ength of ercussion Break) Caribbean Samba is a happy samba tune, with a Caribbean infuence. It is scored for Tuned and Untuned ercussion, and Bass Keyboard, but is adaptabe for any instrument combination.

The Soo can be earned as written or improvised if the payer has the abiity. XyophoneMarimba 2 shaker This is a sighty easier part, but not any ess important. The shaker at the beginning is a critica part, and shoud be payed by another payer if this part is omitted. This payer can share a maet instrument with ayer 1 if necessary. A maet percussion payers coud pay shakers or other Braziian percussion instruments during the percussion break at etter G. Critica part, as there is a soo at etter D and some important meody in this part. If you do not have access to a vibraphone, then this part coud be payed on a eectronic Keyboard or a piano. If you have access to stee drums, then this part coud be adapted to a ead pan. This is a chorda part, with easy chord voicings which shoud be easiy performed by a 1 st -2 nd grade pianist, or a teacher. Bass Keyboard If you have an eectronic Keyboard avaiabe, This part fis in the bass ine of the tune, and makes it come aive. If you do not have a keyboard, then it coud be payed on the bottom end of the piano. It coud aso be adapted for bass guitar if there is a payer avaiabe.
