This season, we are presenting world-class, award-winning artists and musical styles from Brazil, New Orleans, and all points across America, said producer Larry Rosen. Equally important to our mission is to create opportunities for Miami based artists and Miami based music organizations. To date, we have incorporated UM s Frost School of Music, FIU s big band, YoungArts alumni, and we have partnered with Miami-Dade public schools to bring unique music experiences to students in our community at an unprecedented level. Additionally, we have documented many of our concerts which are now available across the planet on TV, internet, CD, itunes, DVD, YouTube, and in books. Through JAZZ ROOTS, we are spreading the creative force of Miami to all points across the globe. The concert lineup for the JAZZ ROOTS six-concert season in the John S. and James L.
