The key to providing native resolution in the LDX 86N Series is a new generation of native Xensium HAWK CMOS imagers that support full native resolution as well as native HD resolution. This new 3840x2160p 4K Xensium HAWK CMOS imager offers a unique pixel tech nology called DPM Ultra (dynamic pixel management) functionality. With DPM Ultra, the camera provides native 1920x1080 HD acquisition (by combining two horizontal and two vertical adjacent pixels) without the intrinsic downsides of acquisition, such as rolling-shutter and decreased sensitivity, while delivering native crispness when needed. 7-day and perpetual licenses are available for 15 F-stops of native. Wide color gamut (WCG) supporting the ITU-R BT.2020 standard is included in all currrent LDX Series cameras. The LDX 86 Series of cameras offer the perfect solution for all format requirements, especially when light sensitivity is of prime importance. Acquiring in native 1920x1080, the LDX 86 4K and LDX 86 Universe cameras use a unique closed-system process for 3840x2160 UHD where all of the processing takes place within the camera system. This delivers a image with the highest light sensitivity available in any system camera, with images almost indistinguishable from native acquisition in most applications. The LDX 86 Series exceptional imaging can now be upgraded to deliver an outstanding 15 F-stops of native high dynamic range () in single-speed operation with the Extended Dynamic Range option. The K2 Summit 3G+ Production Client is optimized for a broad range of production and broadcast applications and is the only server that supports end-to-end SD/HD/3G/ workflows in DVCPRO, MPEG-2, AVC-Intra, H.264/AVCHD, DNxHD and ProRes formats. The K2 Summit IP is a high-performance client/server that is ideal for immediate IP connectivity requirements, as well as facilities planning a migration to IP in the future. It provides up to four SFP connections for SMPTE ST uncompressed IP, along with simultaneous HD-SDI I/O. In the S-series, the Controller M/E is replaced by a pair of multiviewers with pre-configured layouts and On-Air/Preview tally. The control panels are ergonomically designed and can be mounted flat or in a banked curve.
