Gold Sponsor & Pre-Party Host WOMEN IN MUSIC 2017 in association with I have just received the 9th handwritten thank you from my table guests and realised I just have to write to you to say thank you for a truly inspiring day. I invited young women who inspire me and keep me thrilled about the future of our business and without fail, they have written to say that hearing women talk about their careers without overt feminism and with incredible stories, really inspired them all, reminded them to be brave and keeping going. Caryn Tomlinson SVP, Communications Universal Music Group Friday 10th November 2017 - The Brewery, London MEDIA PACK 2017

600+ guests 8+ categories 12 new additions to the Roll of Honour

About Women in Music We launched Women in Music in 2014 and we were overwhelmed by the reaction we received. Our aim was to shine the spotlight on some of the most inspirational and influential execs in the music business who just happened to be female. We also wanted to showcase the full range of roles that women were tackling within the business: highlighting how vital they are to the industry overall. The event has gone from strength to strength since its launch, with new categories and new supporters added every year. Music Week works with AIM, UK Music & WIN to put the event together, and we have succeeded in building a place for the music industry to gather and celebrate the most important and influential women from all sectors of this vibrant business. The fourth annual Women in Music event will take place on Friday 10th November at the Brewery in London. The new venue will allow us to accommodate up to 600 people, which will be welcomed after a sold-out event for 450 in 2016. This year, 12 new names will be added to the prestigious Roll of Honour, which now comprises 50+ amazing women from the Music industry. There will also be seven special category winners on the day: Outstanding Contribution, Business Woman of the Year, Inspirational Artist, New Artist, Campaigner, Media Pioneer and Rising Star. Women in Music 2017 is a celebratory event, which recognises the achievements of great careers and brilliant executives. We hope you will join us! Why support Women in Music? n Show your support and dedication to achieving gender equality and diversity in the music business n Reach out to 600+ of the music industry s leading talent in the same room at the same time with your brand and message n Associate yourself with positivity and progress by sponsoring one of the awards on the day n Position your brand alongside vision, success, innovation and creativity by participating in one of the most important days in the music industry calendar

What do our attendees think? Women in Music Testimonials This fantastic event celebrates the passion, dedication and hard work of all women and not just the nominees and winners, who contribute to making the music industry in the UK one of the most successful globally. Pamela Harding - HR Director, PRS for Music As an inductee from the first year of the event, I am very proud to be on the Roll of Honour with so many people who I respect, and have influenced me. Not to mention it is one of the friendliest and fun awards ceremonies in the industry! Julie Weir - Label Head, Music for Nations - Sony Until there is parity or almost parity of women on industry boards, running major publishers and labels it is really important to acknowledge the work of successful women to encourage others to follow. The Women in Music awards can help make that happen. Jane Dyball - CEO, MPA Group Acknowledging the achievements of women right across the industry is so important, and it shows young women entering the business that there IS a pathway to success. This event is vital in working towards a business that offers total gender diversity and equality. Lara Baker - Marketing & Events Director, AIM I just wanted to again congratulate you on a wonderful event. Andrew Ames - Communications and Development Coordinator, Creative & Cultural Skills Friday was great fun, so well organised and lots of people said to me how it s their favourite awards now! Jo Charrington - EVP A&R, Capitol Records I have just received the 9th handwritten thank you from my table guests and realised I just have to write to you to say thank you for a truly inspiring day. I invited young women who inspire me and keep me thrilled about the future of our business and without fail, they have written to say that hearing woman talk about their careers without overt feminism and with incredible stories, really inspired them all, reminded them to be brave and keeping going. Caryn Tomlinson - SVP, Communications, Universal Music Group It was a lovely event. Thank you for the award, meal and company! I look forward to more conversation over the years. So much exciting positivity in the music and tech industry! Lots of love xx Imogen Heap - 2015 Winner Thanks so much for Friday s event. My table enjoyed it a lot! Hope you all enjoyed it too!
