What is Midwest?
What is the Midwest Clinic? Held in Chicago Began in 1946 as a 6 hour meeting of 120 music directors in a YMCA gym Exists today as the largest conference of it s kind with over 17,000+ attendees annually Over 40 concerts, 90 clinics, 400+ companies, colleges, and other exhibitors in 75,000 sq. ft. exhibit hall Takes place at the McCormick Place Convention Center Who attends? Instrumental Music Teachers Fine Arts Administrators Professional and Amateur Musicians Military Musicians College and University Teachers, Students and Administrators Music Industry Representatives Composers and Arrangers Grade School and High School Music Students Conductors
