The Charlotte AGO chapter is poised to present a convention which promises to represent the very best of our beautiful city. The convention steering committee has given tremendous dedication and effort in coordinating and planning this exciting opportunity! Our choir most recently performed the 3rd part of Handel's Messiah on Easter. Our choir consists of around 25 singers, 4 of which are choral scholarship students from Winthrop. Rehearsals are 7 pm Wednesday nights and 9:45 am on Sunday mornings. The choir is usually off the month of July and there are no Wednesday rehearsals in June or July. While we perform serious music, the choir is a fun loving, laid back bunch that considers the meaning behind the music as important as the music itself.
