Sundance Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the discovery and development of independent artists and audiences. Through its programs, the Institute seeks to discover, support, and inspire independent film and theatre artists from the United States and around the world, and to introduce audiences to their new work. They believe that a story driven by an individual, authentic voice can awaken new ideas that have the power to delight and entertain, push creative boundaries, spark new levels of empathy and understanding, and even lead to social change. They support independent storytellers and advance the impact of their work in the world.
creative brief logo work Background: These two companies have both been around for quite a while and have a good fan base behind them. Airstream started out within a family business and Sundance is a nonprofit organization. + Objective: The objective of this collaboration of these two companies is to benefit both companies and increase awareness as well as sales. For Sundance Film Festival it will help bring in more people into the festival as well as more submissions each year. For Airstream, their sales should see an increase after this collaboration. Target Audience: Our target audience consists of people that love to travel and try new things. The film festival is a fun place to go to see new movies that are created in the US. Male and females ranging from 20-40 will be attending the film festival as well as buying Airstreams to travel in. It has become more popular in that age group to camp and do road-trips in a camper such as an Airstream. Promise: Both companies promise that with this collaboration, you will experience new adventures and step outside your comfort zone. There are no rules when creating a film fanatic Airstream. You are an elite group and will watch films outside of the festival theater. There will be an area set up outside the event hall with a fire pit and the Airstreams circled around the fire. This will be a time to enjoy the festival on the big screens outside as well as get to know others around you that enjoy similar things. There are no winners because anyone that decides to support Airstream gets to also support the film festival in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The moon background goes with the Sundance logo but it has a spin because the event is at night. The rugged Airstream on the bottom showcases the age and durability of an Airstream and what the brand stands for. The creative font was used to catch the viewers attention by the anomaly s created through the type. The target audience loves funky things and thinking outside the box, so the poster represents what they will see at the film festival.
