MCMO Welcome to the 2016-2017 Concert Series MCMO is pleased to announce its 56th chamber music series. Every concert will showcase brilliant musicians in exceptional performances of music that has thrilled audiences over the decades. The music will enrich us and will expand our appreciation of the extraordinary talents of the composers and the performers. MCMO s artists are leading international musicians in demand around the globe. The Jasper Quartet, the most recent winner of the prestigious Cleveland Quartet Award, will open our series. Collaborating with the Jasper Quartet is the American pianist Gilles Vonsattel. Returning are the two French quartets, the Modigliani and the Ébène, performing beautiful programs, each in their unique style. Closing the season is the Fauré Piano Quartett, a German quartet, who is making their debut appearance in Montgomery. We are excited to add both the Jasper Quartet and the Fauré Piano Quartett to MCMO s list of performers. We are confident they will become favorites with our audience. Throughout the planning process MCMO s goals are to maintain excellence in programming, present artists acclaimed throughout the world and present new artists who will nuture the growth of contemporary compositions and their composers yet continue the great traditions of chamber music. Please order your season tickets TODAY! Enjoy the concerts and the wine receptions, one preceding the opening concert and two following the concerts. Remember to purchase your Spring Supper tickets early as our seating space fills up quickly.. *All concerts held at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts
