I am writing to announce that for the upcoming school year I will be the principal of Elkridge Elementary in Laurel, Maryland. Mrs. Debra Anoff will serve as the next principal of Lisbon. Mrs. Anoff has spent the past two and half years as the principal of Elkridge and brings with her over 25 years experience in a variety of school settings. It has been my pleasure to be a part this proud school community. I have truly enjoyed working with the students, staff, PTA and parents of this gem of a school. While I look forward to my new appointment, I can t help but reflect on a few of my favorite Lisbon traditions. Where else can you ride in a horse parade, eat an Almost Famous BBQ Sundae, get soft serve during your lunch break, gaze out on eleven acres of lush ground and our very own nature trail, dance during field day, be a part of a flash mob or celebrate the last day of school with cartwheels??? To my knowledge, there is nowhere in the world quite like Lisbon Elementary. I will miss working with all of you and wish nothing but the best of luck to you in your future endeavors. I very much look forward to receiving my invitation to the 40 th Anniversary Celebration next fall and hearing the great news from Lisbon! (so don t forget to buy those bricks!) Sincerely, Michael Caldwell Principal SCHOOL NEWS MESSAGE FROM THE CAFETERIA: All outstanding lunch charges need to be paid by the end of the school year.
