We are excited to present this opportunity to a Newark Middle School boy in grades 6-8. Pugsley is the younger brother in the Addams Family. He is charming and sneaky, and works to bring chaos to the dinner party during the show. We are seeking someone with a strong high vocal range and great comedic timing. As a member of this cast, you will be rehearsing and performing with the high school students. Please arrive on time. Some students may be asked to stay for callbacks directly following the audition. You will be asked to sing and read the attached audition material. Auditions are closed. Rehearsal Information Rehearsals will be held weeknights starting in January. Please see the attached draft rehearsal schedule. IF CAST you must attend the cast/crew and parent/guardian meeting Tuesday December 20 at 6:00pm. Cast/crew will stay for read through 6:30-9:00pm. Responsibilities and Expectations Required to sign and adhere to the Newark High School s Extracurricular Rules of Conduct Be in good academic standing. If cast/crew is absent from school he or she may not attend rehearsal that evening. MUST NOTIFY the director if unable to attend for any reason. Failure to notify the director, or excessive absences may result in removal from the cast. Please list all conflicts on the audition form. Conflicts during the final two weeks of rehearsal may result in ineligibility to participate as a cast or crew member. ( there are other opportunities available with less commitment, please speak with director if interested!) Be on time to rehearsals. Treat fellow cast and crew members in a professional manner. Cast may be asked to provide appropriate footwear, makeup, or basic costume pieces. The Drama Club exists with limited resources. Everyone contributes to the success of a production. Cast and crew are expected to volunteer to assist with sets, costumes, props, publicity and other efforts. Parents are welcome to volunteer too! Information will be shared at the December 20 meeting. Actors and crew members may be removed from the production for failure to meet the expectations listed above.
