Norton but nice (Daily Telegraph) o Capital - BBC 1 Ratings - Series Peak 4.96 million; Series Average 4.61 million Across the series Capital had a cumulative reach of 14.22 million viewers. o River BBC 1 Ratings - Series Peak 5.1 million; Series Average 3.91 million Winning its timeslot, the series premiere of River delivered a debut consolidated audience of 5.11 million viewers and a 19.8% market share This is as emotionally involving as crime drama gets (Boyd Hilton Heat) We re used to seeing TV cops haunted by their past, but not like this (Radio Times) River has won the following awards: Monte Carlo Golden Nymph Award - Best TV Series Drama, FIPA D'OR Best Actor for Stellan Skarsgard. River received the nominations for the following awards: BAFTA TV 2016 - Best Supporting Actress to Leslie Manville, FIPA D'OR - Best Drama Series, FIPA D'OR Best Actor for Stellan Skarsgard Overseas sales o Kudos continues to lead the way in internationalising UK drama and working with the SVOD platforms. o Humans is a co-production with AMC in the US and has been sold to Amazon. o Grantchester is a co-production with PBS and sells strongly internationally. o The Tunnel 2 is a co-production with Sky Atlantic and Canal Plus. o River is a co-production with Netflix. o A local version of Humans will be produced in China. o A local version of Broadchurch is being produced in France for TF2.

Business Expansion o 2015 was the most successful financial year ever for Kudos as a result of the strong production slate and very strong international sales. o Kudos production slate through 2016 and 2017 is robust and with mega budget productions such as Tin Star and Troy in production, we expect further strong financial performance. o There will be an increasing focus on premium drama development for the US market combined with concentrating on producing the best drama for the domestic market. Culture and reputation of the company Achievements o Kudos was published in Broadcast magazine in a list of The Best Places To Work In TV 2016 o Winner of 2016 Bulldog award for Best Independent Production Company. Contribution to the industry o Kudos creates training placements for the Mama Youth Project - an organisation that aims to equip young people (18-25) from BAME and less privileged backgrounds with the skills and experience to secure long-term employment in the TV and Media industry. o Directors UK Placements We work with Directors UK to offer placements on our productions to their members. This allows them to shadow our directors on set for a number of days during production.

o Kudos has launched a new partnership with the City and Islington College to increase diversity amongst its workforce. o Creative Diversity Network Pledge Kudos have signed up to the CDN Pledge which encourages talent regardless of background, gender, race, disability, age, sexual orientation or religious beliefs on all productions. o Albert and Albert+ Scheme Kudos sit on the consortium board helping to shape the carbon footprint of TV production whilst instilling environmentally stable production practises. Workplace culture and training initiatives o Internal Production Placement Kudos offer their staff short production placements, giving them the opportunity to shadow a department or production role that they are potentially interest in moving into in the future o Courses Kudos offer formal and informal courses, based internally or externally to existing employees to improve their skillset in any area they feel would be beneficial to them, from editing courses to writing pitch proposals. o On Set Placements We have recently started working with Creative Skill Set and the Upskilling Fund to offer employees opportunities to work full time on production in a role which they hope to take on themselves in the future. o KAGs Fun is a huge part of Kudos ethos and as such the Kudos Action Group is created employees that volunteer their time to organise social events for the company with an annual budget. o Lunchtime Learners Kudos employees discuss their role within the company to enlighten their fellow employees on their work and potential avenues for junior employee s career progression. External speakers also come in to discuss the industry and other opportunities and roles out there. o Personal Development Fund each employee has a 200 fund to spend each year on a personal development activity of their choice.
