The Next Generation Jazz Festival Takes Over Downtown Monterey April 5-7, 2019 Thousands of the nation s top student musicians will flock to Monterey to play their hearts out at the Next Generation Jazz Festival. The focus of the event will take place at the newly remodeled Monterey Conference Center and will filter out to venues across the city. Spotlight performances will feature student performers from Monterey County s own school music programs.
