Wanna B By the Lady Beats (cont) Wanna B Word search Activity The language used in this song is strong. It matches the message of the song. Be strong and Proud, the song tells us. The message is made stronger because the singers use strong language themselves. Freedom is the power, power from within Never be cowards, Proud, original, aboriginal. Wanna B by the Lady Beats (cont) As well as strong or emotive language, the song also uses METAPHOR to give us the message. Metaphor is an old favourite in poetry and songs, it describes something as being like something else. Be free LIKE a BIRD. When we think of a bird flying through the air, it certainly is a good example of Freedom. No one tells the bird what to do, it doesn t have to go to school to learn how to be a bird! Here are some animals to use in your own metaphor. The first one is done for you Clues!
