1 DIPLOMA COURSE IN RUSSIAN (FULL TIME) (SEMESTER I) PAPER I (Written) (GRAMMAR & COMPOSITION) Grammar from textbook i) Various grammatical topics covered in the first 25 lessons of the prescribed text-book. ii) Nouns in singular & plural, Verbs & their conjugation in the present tense. iii) Cases: Nominative, Prepositional, Accusative in Singular only. iv) Cardinal Numbers. v) Verbs in the past tense. vi) Personal Pronouns in Nominative, Prepositional & Accusative. vii) All the cases in singular form (Nouns only). viii) Verbs of motion without prefixes: идти-ходить, ехать-ездить ix) который in simple form. x) Aspects of verbs. xi) Present, past & future tenses. xii) Declension of adjectives. xiii) Adverbs Marks: 40 Composition: on any one of the following topics, like My City, My Family, Our University, Our country.
