Read Through and Auditions Co-directors Betty Hitchcock and Marilyn Armon will be holding a read through of the fall production The Odd Couple by Neil Simon at our General Meeting on July 19. The comedy has a cast of 6 men and 2 women. Scripts are available from Betty. Please consider auditioning. This is one of the funniest play ever written. Our own Tina Mullins will be starring as Dolly in the Upper Room Theatre Ministry s summer musical production of Hello, Dolly. Based on The Matchmaker by Thornton Wilder and featuring a cast of delightfully fun characters and a fabulous ensemble, Hello, Dolly!, first produced on Broadway in 1964, went on to win a record 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical. It also broke the record as the longest running Broadway show and is in the Top 20 of all time The show runs from Tuesday, July 17 to Sunday, July 22. HHLT is getting a group together to attend the July 22 matinee with dinner at City Tavern in Manassas to follow. Come and enjoy this great musical. See Georgiana s email for additional information. We are so pleased to honor this very worthy student with our first annual scholarship award.
