Quality Mixing Problem The typical mixer sold for totes is just a standard mixer adapted to the tote via a bridge, clamp or hoist. These adaptations result in contamination via exposure and cross contamination; Solution 1 EXPOSURE CONTAMINATION Common mixing apparatus adapts the mixer to the tote via an additional apparatus: Lift, Bridge, Hoist, etc. All of these methods leave the tote mouth explosed to the environment. 2 CROSS CONTAMINATION Traditional mixers are a single unit and cannot be separated in the same manner as an ITM. Therefore, they are transferred from one tank/application to the next. This method results in cross contamination. In most cases labor intensive cleaning is employed, but this still does not assure the cleanliness of the mixer shaft. The ITM Solution The Integrated Tote Mixer ITM is unique because it is designed to become part of the tote tank. 1 The ITM Mount allows the Agitator Segment to be committed to and seal your tote. This mounting eliminates any exposure to the environment during mixing, storage and application. Once an ITM encloses your product and tote it does not have to be exposed to the environment until dispensed.
Portability 2 The unique ITM Dynamic Coupling allows a common Drive Segment to be applied to several products/totes (red, green, blue) without removing cleaning and inserting an agitator each time. There is no need to clean the mixer in between applications. As per above this ensures the product is not exposed to the environment, but more importantly it is not the source of cross contamination by the agitator. This can translate into cost savings in the overall mixer investment, as well as your cost of cleaning. By assuring your mixing quality through our Solution Assurance, then enclosing this technology from the above contamination you will pay for your ITM Mixers and reduce quality issues such as returned product, dump back and improve customer relationships. Assembly and Installation One of the most valuable benefits of the ITM is its portability. Because the ITM is highly portable you can now apply your new quality control tool (The ITM) wherever you need. 1 The mixer consists of 2 detachable segments ( A. Drive Segment B. Agitator Segment) which can be installed and removed by one person. 2 The Agitator Segment can be inserted through the 6 inch*opening and mounted fully sealing the tote. 3 The drive segment dynamically couples to the agitator segment with a twist and lock. 4 Once mounted and in operation, the impellers expand into its full diameter (up to 21 ). 5 Your product can now be brought back into specification without the concern of contamination. 1 2 3 4 5 * Available for openings of various diameters
