Presidential Ponderings, HELLO ALL, By the time you receive this newsletter THE HOUSE OF DRACULA will be well and truly over and the director, cast and crew will be having a welldeserved rest. What fun it was. The creepily decorated foyer, brilliant set, magnificent costumes, the genius sound, lighting and fx, not to mention the enthusiastic performances from the cast were such a jolly way to end the year, achieving very high bumsonseats rating. The midnight performance was a success with most of the patrons getting into the spirit of things and dressing up for the occasion. On behalf of the committee I have to say an enormous THANKYOU to Fred for stepping into the breach when were left with an empty season. Fred s energetic dedication belies his advanced years and I for one, fervently hope that I will be just as active when I reach that milestone. January will be a busy month with the Marloo Awards Night on the 12 th, The FINLEY AWARDS on the 19 th, followed closely by our own annual AWARDS NIGHT on Saturday 2 nd February. For catering purposes we ll need to know numbers, so after the New Year please let Elaine know if you will be attending. Bookings for SALONIKA will be open after the New Year as Elaine also needs a much needed rest from all things Garrick. Looking forward to this one featuring Siobhan Vincent, Douglas Sutherland-Bruce, Kerry Goode, Rhett Clarke & Jaxon Barclay.
