Presidential Ponderings, HELLO ALL, By the time you receive this newsletter THE HOUSE OF DRACULA will be well and truly over and the director, cast and crew will be having a welldeserved rest. What fun it was. The creepily decorated foyer, brilliant set, magnificent costumes, the genius sound, lighting and fx, not to mention the enthusiastic performances from the cast were such a jolly way to end the year, achieving very high bumsonseats rating. The midnight performance was a success with most of the patrons getting into the spirit of things and dressing up for the occasion. On behalf of the committee I have to say an enormous THANKYOU to Fred for stepping into the breach when were left with an empty season. Fred s energetic dedication belies his advanced years and I for one, fervently hope that I will be just as active when I reach that milestone. January will be a busy month with the Marloo Awards Night on the 12 th, The FINLEY AWARDS on the 19 th, followed closely by our own annual AWARDS NIGHT on Saturday 2 nd February. For catering purposes we ll need to know numbers, so after the New Year please let Elaine know if you will be attending. Bookings for SALONIKA will be open after the New Year as Elaine also needs a much needed rest from all things Garrick. Looking forward to this one featuring Siobhan Vincent, Douglas Sutherland-Bruce, Kerry Goode, Rhett Clarke & Jaxon Barclay. Take care of each other, Wishing you all Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Lynne PRESIDENT/NEWSLETTER/ARCHIVE LYNNE DEVENISH 0488 906 076 garrickarchives@hotmail.com VICE PRESIDENT/TAG LIAISON RODNEY PALMER 0478 410 330 rodpickels@gmail.com 2019 SEASON CO-ORDINATOR TREASURER TERRY BROWN 0449 902 500 tbrown@trinity.uwa.edu.au SECRETARY/BOOKINGS ELAINE 9378 1990 bookings@garricktheatre.asn.au GILBERTHORPE MINUTE SECRETARY BARBARA BROWN 9275 5281 barb.brown@optusnet.com.au PRODUCTION LIAISON & KERRY GOODE 0439 885 521 kerrygoode@iinet.net.au PROGRAMME COORDINATOR TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR/WEBSITE EDI BOROSS 0400 599 996 garricktechnical@gmail.com edinaboross@hotmail.com SOCIAL CONVENOR YVONNE STARR 0409 112 695 yvonnes.45@bigpond.com WARDROBE SUPERVISOR & TEAM MEMBERS GRAINNE FRIEL COLLEEN BRADFORD 0439 137 109 0414 579 752 grainne.99@hotmail.com colleenbradford@iinet.net.au

William Darlington, Kathleen Nyland, James Nailen, Thomas McCracken GET WELL Here s to a speedy recovery for Elaine Gilberthorpe who is undergoing eye surgery. To Dame Kerry All I can say is I sincerely hope that the experience you had recently is nothing like a scene at Doc Martin s practice in Port Wenn, where a patient passed out at the sight of the syringe and needle being used to drain her Baker s Cyst, sustaining a cut on her forehead, which bled profusely, and of course our hero who suffers haemophobia then also passed out on the floor next to her.
