Why do the musical? It s just plain fun!

Workshops and Auditions Workshop and Audition Dates/Time: Workshop for 4th grade students on Monday, December 10th, 3-5:30pm. Workshop for 5th grade students on Wednesday, December 12th, 3-5:30pm. Auditions for 4th grade students on Monday, December 17th, 3-5pm. Auditions for 5th grade students on Tuesday, December 18th, 2-4pm. Callbacks on Wednesday, December 19th, 3-5:30pm.*

General Information *Students in the musical will pay a $50 enrollment fee (more details in the participation information packet). *Students should bring a nut-free snack and water bottle to all rehearsals. *Students in the musical CANNOT also participate in enrichment classes with the exception of students cast in only the Prince Ali s Entourage or Genie s Entourage groups. *All students must be picked up at the end of workshops, auditions, and rehearsals at DRAKE ALLEY. There is no late bus provided.

Time Commitment We typically rehearse three days a week for an hour and a half each rehearsal during January & February and two hours or more each rehearsal in March & April. Not all roles attend all rehearsals: Roles That Attend Most Rehearsals - Genie, Aladdin, Babkak, Omar, Kassim, Jasmine Roles with a Larger Time Commitment- Iago, Isir, Manal, Rajah, Jafar Roles with an Average Time Commitment- Razoul, Guards, Agrabahns, Sultan Roles with a Smaller Time Commitment- Prince Abdullah & Attendants, Prince Ali s Entourage, Genie s Ensemble, Spooky Voice, Cave of Wonders Roles with a Limited Time Commitment - Select Mondays only until April 1st Prince Ali s Entourage, Genie s Entourage

Time Commitment Mondays - 3-4:30pm* Tuesdays- 2-4pm* Wednesdays- 3-4:30pm* Thursdays- TBA - 5th graders or 4th graders not in band *Timing for January, February, and some of March. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------BAND - We already have an understanding with Mr. De Stefano regarding band. You may participate in both activities, and 5th graders will miss their Wednesday band rehearsal if they have musical rehearsal.
