That is until now. Meet the driverless car! A car with no driver could make a huge change in the way we travel. Why would someone want a car if a computer does the driving? Well, it would give blind people a way to get around. Maybe even kids could take the car to the store. Also, driverless cars might be safer. The computer that controls the car can brake quicker than a human can. It can also tell what other cars are doing faster than a human driver. That could stop cars from crashing.
