I the XYZ mode, the sesor provides a RGB type output. The X, Y ad Z output wires represet the itesity of the red, gree ad blue compoets of the target color as a 0-5 VDC sigal. I the xyy mode, the sesor provides a output that separates color from itesity. The x ad y sigals act as (x,y) coordiates to give a idicatio of color while the magitude of the Y sigal gives a idicatio of sigal itesity or color brightess.
