2019 Artificial Lift Strategies for Unconventional Wells Workshop Cox Convention Center, February 11-14, 2019 Remote Acquisition Well Monitoring O. Lynn Rowlan Carrie Anne Taylor Dieter Becker Ken Skinner

New Hardware/Software Platform Allows Remote Asset Monitoring In the past an operator was required to be at the wellsite to perform tests with the Wireless Well Analyzer System and his Laptop. Now can schedule unattended fluid level, dynamometer, pressure, and power acquisitions test. Using internet or cell phone access any well anywhere in the world can be monitored in detail with high speed and high resolution wireless sensor data. Schedule time, frequency and sampling speed to monitor a well for an extended time Schedule can be changed and data can be remotely retrieved without requiring the operator to make a trip to the wellsite to retrieve and view the acquired well data. 2

Laptop at the Well Sets Up using WiFi Hotspot then Leaves Unattended 4

New Hardware/Software Platform Well anywhere in the world can be optimized/monitored by Operator 5

Any Well Anywhere in the World can be Analyzed & Monitored Remotely Communication thru Internet Local internet access at the well or Cellular MODEM to Cloud Laptop with Internet Connection Same data acquisition available to user at the remote laptop and the well can be monitored in detail with high speed and high resolution wireless sensor data. 6

Summary New platform automatically acquires data without requiring an operator to be present at the wellsite and allows the data to be remotely collected. Operator can create/modify remotely the acquisition schedule to acquire data periodically for an extended period of time or acquire a test on demand. At the well or through the cloud from any location in the world the operator can troubleshoot and analyze the performance of his well. 22
