Customer requests for tailor-made furnaces result in a recurring demand for products with the same characteristics and dimensions; thus we want now to offer a range of standard furnaces in three groups: - Horizontal tube furnaces - Vertical tube furnaces - Well tube furnaces By developing a range of standard furnaces we offer competitive price and improved delivery time. Our furnaces are sold with or without temperature control module, allowing you to purchase only what you need. We are well aware that tests, experiments and analysis results are largely dependent on the equipment used, which is why we strive to provide you with a product of superior quality. For greater accuracy and optimal temperature homogeneity, we recoend that your reactors are placed in direct contact with the furnace avoiding a supplementary work tube. If you cannot find the dimensions of furnace that match your requirements in our catalogue, do not hesitate to contact us for custom manufacturing. We guarantee a price and delivery time at least comparable to those of standard products. We categorize our furnaces by size according to the internal diameter of the heating tube and the external diameter of the furnace. Fastening and mechanical assembly options: Same prices for all modes of fastening We offer three types of mounting fixture so you can get the best for your needs: - Smooth rods Ø 10 or Ø 12 stainless steel on the furnace wall - Threaded rods on the furnace wall - Metal flat base fixed under the furnace body with four rubber feet. Tubular Furnace with flat base Tubular furnace (vertical or horizontal) with 2 rods Our horizontal tube furnaces can also be used vertically when mounted on a support with stainless steel rods (smooth or threaded). Using our furnaces horizontally or vertically does not change their technical characteristics and their performances. Safety: - Several active safety systems may be connected to the furnaces: - Thermal Fuses cuts power to the furnace in case security limit is exceeded (limited to 600 C max) - Use of existing alarm functions on temperature controllers and prograers to signal (visually or audibly) malfunctions or make an automatic shutdown. Use of a second measuring circuit with its own thermocouple to guarantee the "alarm / security" functionality. 2

We categorize our furnaces by size according to the internal diameter of the heater tube and the external diameter of the furnace. The well tube furnaces are closed by two flanges on the lower section; this giving better insulation and therefore a longer heating zone. The fixings, mechanical mounts and the safety systems are identical to those of the tube furnaces, available for vertical or horizontal use. For additional functionality of our furnaces, we offer optional accessories: Temperature controllers: Allow for prograing a rise or fall in temperature over time until a set value. Complete with display for real time reading of temperature and setpoint. Temperature prograer: For more complex Temperature regulation, providing temperature control with respect to a prograable set point variable over time. The temperature prograer allows for up to 16 segments: each segment can be independently set for final temperature, time duration and speed of temperature rise. The prograer can store up to 4 differents temperature programs, each program consisting of up to 16 segments. We can therefore offer you furnace using refractory tubes made of alumina, Sillimantin 60 ( 80 % Al2O3) or other materials. Thermal shock resistance and porosity for instance, are different for different tubes. Plugs: To meet your insulation and sealing needs, we offer various types of plugs for both furnaces and reactors. 11

Reactors cooling or Refrigeration System : One or more reactors can be placed inside the furnace if needed. It is possible to cool gas and liquids on input or output from reactors and furnaces. Assembling and Fixings: In addition to the mounting methods mentioned above, we can provide the supports necessary for the assembly of your furnace. Tubular furnace mounted Software: Our furnaces can be controlled by software: - Regulate and set the temperature - Manage gas and / or water flow - Save sequences or temperature profiles for each type of sample - Activate informational, alarm and automatic shutdown messages.
