All children who have completed 5 to 15 years of age as on April 4, 2015 and are registered by their Parent(s) / Guardian(s) to participate in the Show via any medium advertised by the Organizers from time to time Q. Who is a Parent or Guardian? A. Parent for the children shall be their biological parents being their Father or Mother. Guardian shall be such guardians for such children as appointed by District Court under the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890 or any other applicable law. Any other relative of the child participant shall not be considered for allowing registration in the Show and any such entry made shall be declared invalid and cancelled. Q. When will the participation lines be open? A. IVR : 3. Online : Subscribers need to dial 5052525 to register * BSNL landline subscribers from Haryana, Punjab & Rajasthan need to dial 1255525 to register. On dialing the number, following steps need to be followed in order to register for participation: Step 1: Select your preferred language in the IVR system (Hindi/English) Step 2: Agree to Terms and Conditions of participation. Detailed Terms and Conditions for participation are available at www.sonyliv.com Step 3: Select the preferred city for auditions (from amongst the options provided) Step 4: Enter child s age in completed years (between 5 to 15 years as on April 4, 2015) Step 5: Select child s gender At each step you will be required to confirm your input. Failure to input a valid key press in a maximum of two attempts will result in call termination and the entry will not be registered. Parents / guardians who want to register their children need to log on to www.sonyliv.com for registration. Step 1: On the landing page they will need to input details as below:

Indian Idol Application: Parents / guardians who want to register their children need to download the Sony LIV app from the App store for IOS and Google play for Android. Step 1: After clicking on the App they will need to input details as below:

Please visit the www.sonyliv.com to know specifically about guidelines for Audition Videos. Q. What will it cost me to call or send an SMS? A. SMS : Every SMS sent to the participation numbers will be charged as below. BSNL- Rs.6/SMS, Others-Rs.5/SMS 5252525(All Subscribers)* * Available with Airtel, Aircel, BSNL, IDEA, MTNL-Mumbai, MTNL-Delhi, Reliance, TATA Docomo, TATA Indicom, Virgin Mobile & Vodafone in select circles. Roaming rates may apply and Registrant(s) should contact the telecom service provider for the applicable rates. Invalid entries will also be charged. B. Online: There is no charge for online registration, except for the cost of internet usage. Please contact your service provider for further details on the same. MSM will not be responsible for undelivered and/or incomplete registrations on account of any infrastructural, network or other issues. D. Indian Idol App: There is no charge for downloading and using the Indian Idol App for submission of entry, except for the cost of internet usage. Please contact your telecom service provider for further details on the same. MSM will not be responsible for undelivered and/or incomplete registrations on account of any infrastructural, network or other issues. Q. Can I send in more than one entry for registrations? A. Yes. There is no restriction on the number of entries that can be submitted for registration. However, if shortlisted for the auditions once for a city, the same entry will not be eligible for another audition attempt at any other location. Q. When will I know whether the entry has been shortlisted for auditions or not? A. SMS & Out bound dialer calls will be employed to provide audition details on the number used for registration (as per the details available with the Organizers). Only if the entry is shortlisted, you will receive a message/ confirmation call providing you with details on the venue and date for the next round of shortlisting. You will also be provided with a unique registration ID that you will need to provide at all the subsequent rounds of participation. *MSM will not be responsible for unanswered calls/ call drops and/or undelivered messages. MSM will not be charging any fee for the purpose of being either selected for auditions or for participating in the auditions and any such message needs to ignored as it might be attempt to cheat or dupe you by people gaining illegal access to your numbers and details. Q. When will I get to know and how?
A. If shortlisted, the parents / guardians will be informed on the contact number provided and will be informed 2 to 3 days before the date of audition for the city that has been chosen as the prospective audition venue. Q. If shortlisted, will I have to bear the cost of any conveyance and lodging incurred? A. Yes. If shortlisted the parents / guardians will be required to bear their own cost of any conveyance and lodging, for participation in the auditions, which parents/guardians will themselves choose for the purpose of participating in the auditions. MSM will not refund any costs incurred by any persons in connection with participation for the auditions of Indian Idol Junior.
Q. Will MSM charge any fee for participation in audition or filling up the forms for the purpose of auditions? No. MSM will not charge any fee for the purpose of participating in the auditions and will not ask the participants to reimburse any cost for participation in the auditions. Q. If shortlisted, what documents will be required for the auditions? The Registrants and their Parent(s) / Guardian(s) need to carry with them the following documents: For Parent(s) / Guardian(s)/ Registrant(s): 1 passport size photograph For valid name proof (any one of the following): o PAN Card o Passport o Voter ID o Driver s License For Valid address proof (any one of the following): o Landline Phone o Electricity Bill o Passport o Voter ID o Driver s License o Ration card For Registrant s Child / Participant(s): Consent letter for participation from Parent(s) / Guardian(s) The Parent/Guardian will be required to sign the Consent Letter before participating in the Audition. 1 passport size photograph plus 1 full length photograph
For valid name proof (any one of the following): o Birth certificate o Bonafide certificate with the child s identity attested by the Principal of the school being attended/ School ID Card o Passport For valid age proof (any one of the following): o School ID Card o Passport o Ration Card o Birth certificate Guardians would need to carry a bonafide Court Order appointing them as Guardian under the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890 or any other applicable law.. Q. If shortlisted, will the child be required to be accompanied by a guardian? A. Yes. If shortlisted, all children will require to be accompanied by his/her parent / guardian, who will also serve as their signatory for all signing formalities. Q. I have a query. Whom can I ask? A. Where can I read detailed Terms and Conditions governing Indian Idol? A. The detailed terms and conditions governing the show are available on www.sonyliv.com. Q. What if I am unable to make it to the auditions on the specified date? Can it be rescheduled? A. No. Inability to attend the audition on the specified date, time and location will terminate further participation in the Show.
Q. How will I know the result of the auditions? A. You will be informed of the decision on the day of the audition, either right after your performance or subsequently during the course of the day. Q. Some people claim that they can help get entry to the Show. Is it possible? A. No. The only way to participate in the Show is through the defined processes of registration and audition announced by MSM. Any person claiming otherwise is defrauding/misleading you and you need to be extra careful in such cases and take necessary actions against such fraudsters and cheats and MSM will not be responsible in any manner in this regard.
