ENGLISH ENGLISH: "Magazine" refers to a collec on of wri en ar cles. The students of Grade 6 will make a magazine. The magazine should have maximum ten pages of A4 size on five given topics. It should also have one front page, one index page and one back page. The students have to decorate the front and back pages colourfully and crea vely. Give a name to your magazine and write the topics in the index page with page numbers. The page numbers should be given at the bo om of each page along with a quote or proverb of your choice. The write-ups should be done on single side of each page. Following are the parameters of assessment - content, crea vity, presenta on, accuracy and organiza on of the thoughts: 1. Short story (2 pages) TOPIC DESCRIPTION Write a short story (250-300 words) on 'A trip to the world of Dinosaurs'. 2. Comic Strip (1 page) 3. Poster Making (1 page) An illustra on of an interview between you and your favourite cartoon character. (minimum 6 frames and maximum 10 frames) OR An illustra on on the Day my tree spoke. A poster on your imaginary account of 22nd century school. 4. Paragraph writing (1 page) Write a paragraph (100-150 words) on a famous personality born in the month of May. (along with pictures, descrip ons of the person, facts etc) 5. Miscellaneous page (2 pages) A crea ve assortment of favourite recipe/ idioms/ jokes/ anecdotes/ scien fic/ literary facts/ quizzes/ current affairs.

SCIENCE Ac vity 1: Observe the following changes and classify them as reversible/ irreversible and physical/ chemical on a coloured A4 sheet. Click pictures of each ac vity listed below in the table.
