The cotacts are held i positio by the isulator body. The tips of the cotact forks with guide taper ad latch are sharp ad break through the cable sheath to provide a gas tight termiatio. The cotact rib which is purposely rouded creates high pressure to isure a reliable termiatio without damage durig the termiatio process. The reliability of the termiatio process depeds o maitaiig proper aligmet of the cable to the coector, the cotact to the coductor, ad the stability of cotact i the coector.
