Executive Summary VOD In 2013, an average of 43.3 million set-top-boxes (STBs) per month accessed VOD content, a.06% increase over 2012 VOD continued to experience growth in the amount of hours consumers spent watching content, up 2.9% over 2012 In the past year, there were 8.9 billion VOD transactions combined with 4.5 billion hours of viewing time Consumers spent an average of 8.7 hours a month watching VOD, and annual revenue from TOD content (movies and adult) was $1.5 billion FOD content continued to be a key driver of VOD, representing 78% of all VOD transactions and 68% of all HD transactions 3
