Up to 27 alarms units, it allows to remote parameters of each alarm unit, centralization of the defaults on the same printer and analyses problem at distance. The alarm units are together connected and to the computer by BUS 485. The VISIOTEL interface dispatches the information by telephone for hospitals which are distant. WALL UNIT INTEGRATION Wall integration VISIO 100 version allows a discreet integration of alarm system into a column or a depressurization box in the operating theatre or in the emergency units. VISIO 5 ALARM UNIT Visio alarm unit manages 5 analogical or logic inputs. The concerned gas pressures are on liquid crystal display. Several green and red leds confirms the normal use or the default of concerned gas. By its polyvalence you can also either use it for gas production (bottle, compressors) or inside hospital network control. Biolume Installation Directions 3 / 13 USE AND DISPLAY When connected, the unit displays the date of program version. VISIO 5 250701 Then, the unit successively displays the status of the different monitored medical gases. OXYGEN 4.0 b NITROUS 3.0 b AIR -500 m Above example can be different according to the input central alarm unit program. In case of default, the concerned medical gases are successively displayed and blink then NITROUS B 1.8 b OXYGEN H 6.3 b When the pressure is too low, B blinks. When the pressure is too high, H blinks. Simultaneously when default appears, the red led DEFAULT blinks so does the red led of gas display. The buzzer is activated. CAUTION : With 250701 software, medical gas leds do not blink. For stopping the buzzer, the technician must press on desactivation button. Then the defaults leds light but do not blink. If a new default appears, the default led blinks and the buzzer is reactivated. If, after acknowledgement, the default disappears, the "ERROR" led lights go off. The display appears like in statement If the default is acknowledged (do not disappear after a pre-recorded period), the buzzer is reactivated and the red led "ERROR" blinks again (general default and medical gas default).

Biolume Installation Directions 4 / 13 BATTERIES The VISIO 5 unit is standard provided with batteries securing its use and also the sensors power feeding (for at least 1 hour in case power is cut off). Contrary to the VISIO 4 unit, no Shunt battery is necessary. For stopping the VISIO 5 unit, you must disconnect the power supply (230V), then you have to disconnect and reconnect the plug of the battery. In this case, the VISIO 5 type does not use any power. The units are offered with half-charged batteries. Please put the batteries on charge for 24 hours for a full charge. In case of total discharge, 48 hours are necessary. We recommend to replace the batteries every 2 years (EC medical).

Biolume Installation Directions 7 / 13 PARAMETERS This chapter contains all information which will allow you to read, check and program and to adapt the use of the unit for a specific configuration in which it is installed. The parameters can be modified according to your requirements via the LCD display and the four buttons M, C, D and U. When the VISO 5 type is power supplied, pressing on one of the buttons switches on the display during 5 seconds. The parameters are recorded in an EEPROM memory (or E2PROM type), which keeps the information even when the VISIO 5 is totally out of supply. Every parameter is identified by an abbreviated name and a line (hexadecimal basis (with figures : 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, D, E, F), corresponding with the position where it is recorded into the EEPROM memory. The display indicates for every parameter, its address, its abbreviated name and its value. 00C TP1 0015 mn Access to the different lines of the notice Accessible lines from 006 to 025 for the access of parameters. The 000 address is the main display for the pressures or the defaults (previous chapter). (The 000 address is not displayed but is implicit). The address is automatically forced to 000 when the 4 buttons of parameters are not activated during one minute. This can be also done by pressing simultaneously on CLEAR buttons. The addresses from 001 to 005 allow to permanently display the medical gas pressures which are connected to input from 1 to 5 : 001 OXYGEN 2.6 b 002 NITROUS 4.3 b 003 AIR 12.5 b 004 VACUUM -400 m Only the first five letters of the name of medical gas are displayed. Biolume Installation Directions 10 / 13 Choice of language Two possibilities are offered to speak your language. They appear at the address 006 under the title : FRANCE, ENGLAND, DENMARK,... Press 6 times on D button in order to select the 006 address. Press on MODIF buttons simultaneously Press on U button and choose the required language 006 COUNTRY FRANCE MDF COUNTRY FRANCE MDF COUNTRY Record the required language of the unit by pressing on VALID buttons simultaneously. 006 PAYS ENGL In above example, the used language will be English.

The values can be chosen between France, English, Denmark and so on... 007 CODE 0000 9999 1234 This parameter allows to protect the parameters owing to a code. If the exposed value is zero, the modification of the parameters is not allowed. If the exposed value is not zero, the modification of the parameters is allowed. To change the parameters : register the code and enter. If the registered code is not correct, the value 0000 is exposed. To forbid the modification of the parameters, register the code 0000. To change the code, register the old code, enter, register the new code and enter. CAUTION : This function is not available for the 250701 version of the software. 008 ENT1 OXYGEN CHANNEL4 OXYGEN Type of medical gas controlled by sensor n 1. It can be chosen in the following list : OXYGEN, NITROUS, AIR, VACUUM. 009 CAP1 N.C. 0/250b 0/16b Type of sensor connected to input n 1, it can be chosen in the following list : NC (not connected = input not used), 0/16b, 0/250b, 0/0.9b, Digital (logical input : "TOR"), means that input is all or nothing. Contrary to VISIO 4, the selection digital / analogic input is automatic. 00A MINI1 5% of sensor 95% of sensor 03.3 Pressure value under which the default is detected for input n 1. The default appears if the pressure is strictly lower than the MINI 1 value 5%. If the value of the parameter is lower or higher than the sensor scale, it is automatically modified. In the case of a digital sensor, the values are in percent.
