All electronic data will be held for one year from date of receipt and all media will be destroyed after four months unless directed otherwise. Trapping is the responsibility of the File Provider. Preferred file format High resolution PDF with all printer marks (trim marks, bleed marks, registration marks and color bars) Acceptable file format Mac formatted InDesign file pre-flighted with all fonts and images used in the file saved on a CD-Rom; please inquire to Chris Kite (212-317-1470 or ckite@pgfusa.org) about ftp options for uploading materials. Important A color proof must be supplied and calibrated for S.W.O.P. standards for all ads. Proof specifications: Kodak Approval; Imation Matchprint Digital Halftone; or Progressive press proofs. All contract proofs must be made according to SWOP standards including color bars. Proofs that do not meet SWOP criteria will be used for color break only. Information on SWOP standards can be found at www.swop.org Also accepted Mac formatted Illustrator CS2 (and below) files with all fonts and images.
