Guitar Other information How far do you travel to perform? We have so far traveled up to Byron Bay for a wedding, which cost more than a Sydney gig, due to the time spent on the road. We are also happy to consider further destinations and overseas trips as well. How long do you play for and when do you take your breaks? As a general rule, we perform for around 50 minutes and take a 10-15 minutes break, but we are happy to be flexible with this to accommodate for the timing of speeches and announcements. Do you charge for set up time? No we generally don t, with the exception of situations where we are asked to set up several hours before our performance time. Can we ask you to play certain songs not on the repertoire list? Yes we are happy to learn a couple of new tunes if you have anything you particularly fancy. Can you play music to get people dancing? Without being a pop band we ve had quite a bit of success at getting people up to dance by playing well known Jazz classics made fashionable by contemporary artists like Michael Bublé. How long can we book you for?
We have a rather vast repertoire and have been booked for 6 hour gigs in the past. Do you provide your own sound system? Yes we have a sound system that is adequate for rooms up to around 250 people. For bigger numbers, we hire a bigger sound system at the clients cost and charge a modest set up fee. Is the duo a good option for an after dinner dance set? We can perform a dance set as a duo, but we find adding a saxophone player to the duo is a good format for those circumstances. Does the band have insurance? Yes we have public liability cover. Can we have an all English or French or Instrumental performance? Yes bien sur, we are more than happy to cater for the clients preferences in regard to our repertoire.
