Travers The Littles by John Lawrence Peterson James and the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl Harriet the Spy by Louise Fitzhugh Charlotte's Web by E. B. White Illustrated by Garth Williams Matilda by Roald Dahl Freckle Juice by Judy Blume Bunnicula by James Howe Frindle by Andrew Clements The Chocolate Touch by Patrick Skene Catling The BFG by Roald Dahl Superfudge by Judy Blume Stuart Little by E.B. The books may be too frightening for some children.

If there is a book that your child is interested in, that is not on this list, please bring it in to school so that I can approve of it. *Please note, we will be reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis in class toward the end of the year. No one will be allowed to read it for this project. The guidelines for the book report will be given the week of April 7. It will be completed on a project display board (the same size as the science project board), which can be purchased at any school supply store (Staples, Michaels, Target, Walgreens, etc.) The board will be due on Tuesday, May 6 th. Students should get started on reading the book as soon as they find a book they like. You may rent from the library, purchase an E-book or purchase the book from a bookstore or online. Please let me know if you have any questions. Sincerely, Mrs. Garcia Lgarcia@maryimmaculateschool.org
