Go Directly to Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Adult Readers 1999 Draft - February 1999 The Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), a division of the American Library Association (ALA) has announced its 1999 list of Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Adult Readers. The list was released during the ALA Midwinter Meeting in Philadelphia. A finished version of the list will appear in the 1999 edition of ALA s Guide to Best Reading.
