Timer Remote Control Instruction How to use the channel numbers - There are 32 channels on the Remote Control Timer you can assign to Curtain Motor(s). To operate the Motors individually by itself only, assign an unique channel# on each Motor. To operate a group of Motors simultaneously, assign the motors one by one the identical channel#. You may assign 1 or more channels to each Motor. (i.e. Motor can be operated individually or in a group) e.g. If there are 2 Motors (we call it Motor A and Motor B) in the house, we can assign them as follow: Motor A: channel # 1 and Channel # 2 Motor B: channel # 1 and Channel # 3 - When select channel #1 on the Remote Control, both motors will be operated at the same time. - When select channel #2 on the Remote Control, only Motor A is operated. - When select channel #3 on the Remote Control, only Motor B is operated. A Motor can be in many groups, by assigning additional channel# on it. How to use operations - There are 64 operations on the Remote Control Timer can be assigned to Curtain Motor(s). How to assign a channel# to the Motor Case 1: (the Motor is already programmed and working with another Remote Control) - Close the curtain. i) Press the + or - on the Timer Control to select a channel# (from 1 to 32). ii) Use a pin to press and hold the Pin Hole on the bottom of the Motor for 5 seconds, till the LED next to the pin hole stays on solid. Release the pin. iii) Press the Open button on the Timer Control 3 times till the Carrier on the Track starts moving. Let it move to the end. Done. Case 2: (the Motor is first time being programmed) - Unplug the Motor power. - Hand move the Master Carrier on the track back and forth the whole track a couple times to make sure the Master Carrier travels smoothly on the whole track. - Move the Master Carrie to about half way of open or close on the track. - Plug in power for the Motor. i) Press the + or - on the Timer Control to select a channel# (from 1 to 32). ii) Use a pin to press and hold the Pin Hole at the bottom of the Motor for 5 seconds, till the LED next to the pin hole stays on solid. Release the pin. iii) Press the Open button on the Timer Control 3 times till the Carrier on the Track starts moving. Let it move to the end. iv) Press the Close button on the Timer Control a few times till the Carrier on the Track starts moving to the other end. Let it move to the end. v) Press the Open button on the Timer Control, the Carrier on the Track starts moving. Let it move to the end. Done. The curtain can be operated by the Timer Control to open, close or stop now. Note You may assign additional channel# to the same Motor by using step i) to iii) only. Set the Hour / Minute / Day of the week i) Use a pin to press and hold the Clock button on the back of the Timer Control, until the clock symbol appears on the upper left of the front display. Now the 2 digits hour keeps blinking. ii) Press + or - to select the current hour, press Stop button to confirm. Now the 2 digits minute keeps blinking. iii) Press + or - to select the current minute, press Stop button to confirm. iv) Press + or - to select the day of the week. (1,2, 7 represents Mon., Tuesday, Sunday) iv) Press F1 on the back of the Timer Control to save and exit. 2
Fix the # of total channels - There are 32 channel indicator on the Timer Control. It can be modified as follow: i) Use a pin to press and hold the SET button on the back of the Timer Control, until the repair symbol appears. ii) Press + or - to select the total # of channel desired. iii) Press F1 on the back of Timer Control to save and exit. Scheduling to open / close the curtain There are 64 scheduling. This is 1 st scheduling as shown on the screen. Press + to go to the next scheduling. Press the clock button 5 times, wait 5 seconds, the "clock" and "repair" symbols will appear on upper left corner as shown in the next picture. Press - to go to the previous scheduling. confirm and move to next step. Hour Minute It shows the channel # to be scheduled for the operation of open/close the curtain Press + or to select the value of Hour or Minute. Press + or to change the channel # to be scheduled for the operation. confirm the value and move to next step. confirm the channel and move to next step. 3
It indicates the operation of Open or Close the curtain. Press + or - to select the operation of Open or Close. confirm the operation and move to next step. 4
The Bar(s) on the top row means to repeat the operation on that day every week. If the Bar does not appear, it means the operation only works once for the current week only. The 7 Bars on the bottom row represents Monday to Sunday from left to right. Step 1 Press + or - to select the day of the week (Monday to Sunday). The bar blinks representing the day selected. Step 2 Press the Open button to toggle the function of repeating the operation every week or not. The top bar shows up is to repeat the operation on that day every week. The top bar does not show up is not to repeat but only work once on the current week. Step 3 Repeat the above step 1 and 2 for all 7 days one by one. Then press F1 on the back of the Remote to save and exit. Now you have finished 1 operation scheduling. You will need to repeat the above process for more operations. e.g. If you just did the open the curtain scheduling, you will need to do the closing curtain scheduling. Important Note - The scheduling must be different for each operation or channel. It can only send one command at a time to 1 channel. Do NOT set 2 identical hour/minute. It has to be at least 1 minute apart for different 5
channel#. Write down the time (hour and minute), channel#, operation (open or close) on a piece of paper to avoid mistake or confusion before programming it. Reset to factory setting - Use a pin to press and hold the clock button on the back of the Timer Control, simultaneously press the stop button of the Timer Control for a few seconds until the screen flashes. Done. - All schedules are erased. - It returns to factory setting as follow: - 32 channels - hour / minute : 00 / 00 - current channel: 01 Reverse the Motor Direction i) Use a pin to press and hold the pin hole on the bottom of the Motor for 5 seconds, till the LED next to the pin hole stays on solid. Release the pin. ii) Press the Timer Control Down button 2 times. Done. Power Charger Carefully plugs into the micro USB port at the bottom of the Remote Control. Plug into a power adapter or the USB port in a computer for power charging. The port is delicate. Please be careful when plug in or unplug the cable.
