Annie Production Information Winter 2017 Rehearsals (First rehearsal will be on Tuesday, November 21st @ 6:00 ) Rehearsals are usually held Fridays (6:00-9:00 ) and Saturdays (8:45 am to 12:00 & 12:30-3:15 ). There are some exceptions to this because of the holidays. Please check the rehearsal schedule carefully. For details on additional rehearsal times or locations and other important dates such as costume parade, please refer to the full production schedule. Some dates, times and locations are subject to change but will be clearly communicated on the weekly production notes. Production notes will be posted on your CYT family page and emailed every Wednesday. This information is a must-read to keep you informed on rehearsal call schedules, production information or any necessary changes. Tech/Show Week will be from Sunday, January 21st to Saturday, January 27th at Isely Traditional Magnet Elementary School located in Bel Aire at 5256 N. Woodlawn. There will be a total of five shows: one on Thursday, two on Friday and two on Saturday. Please note there will be a final dress rehearsal on Thursday, January 25th at 2:00. No absences are allowed during tech/show week! Accepting a role in a CYT production is a significant commitment for the student and the family. Through this process students and families learn the value of collaboration, responsibility, and hard work while making friends and having fun. Before your student auditions, review the production expectations. This is what you and your family are committing to. Parent commitment is a vital part of the CYT process. Student Production Commitment Please Note: Although CYT strives to avoid costs beyond the required fees, some additional costume & make-up fees may be necessary including specialty shoes for some roles. $80 PRODUCTION FEE (due at first parent meeting on 12/2/17): Fee of $70 for each additional sibling. Production fee helps cover costs such as costumes, sets and props. Please note that Production fees are not refundable. $25 BASIC MAKE UP KIT (due 12/2/17): (New students only) REHEARSALS: Cast members are required to be at ALL rehearsals for which they are scheduled and ALL shows. Cast members will be committed to approximately 60+ hours of rehearsal time before move-in and dress rehearsal week. Cast members may not leave rehearsal early unless cleared with Show AC/Director. TECH WEEK: Early dismissal from school may be necessary to meet required call times during tech week. This includes missing two full days of school for performances or dress rehearsals. No absences are permitted during tech/show week. CONFLICTS: Only conflicts listed on your audition form will be excused at the discretion of Show AC/Director. If an additional absence is necessary as the result of an illness or emergency, please contact the Show Area Coordinator ASAP! More than two unexcused absences may result in dismissal from the show without a refund. Conflicts will be taken into consideration and may effect casting. For some principle roles, conflicts are strongly discouraged the last two weekends of rehearsal. PUNCTUALITY: Cast members should plan to arrive at every rehearsal 10 15 minutes early, ready to practice. Three late arrivals may result in dismissal from the show without a refund.
