You can obtain the IP addressby pressing the services button on the remote, then 0 and finally 5. The IP address is listed as IP Adddress of Sky box in the menu. The default port number for the Sky HD+ is 49160 and for the Sky Q its 5900
Page 6 4. Add the licence code The Sky module needs a licence to work. To add the licence go to Step 11 in Accelerator and select the Two Way Module Settings option. In the system parameter Information box enter your licence code. You will now need to setup the accounts required to use this module and enter those details once you have them in this parameters field.
Page 7 System Parameters The Sky module requires only a licence code to work. It also accepts one additional parameters that is used to enable the debugging mode. All system parameters are entered in the following format KEY=VALUE The following table details the system parameters that work with this module. KEY PARAMETER LICENCE Licence code to register the driver MODEL Q for Sky Q STB, otherwsie omit. DEBUG Puts the module in to it s debug mode Model The MODEL parameter can be used to force the seelction of the module to use Sky Q instead of th Sky+ HD (the default). If you use 5900 for the pot it will default to Sky Q as well but this makes sure it chooses the correct STB type. Debug If the DEBUG parameter is present and set to ON (DEBUG=ON) then detailed log files will be written to the base station. The log files can be fetched by connecting to the base station with FTP and looking in the /Common/Sky folder. This will cause additional load on the processor so it should be left off unless you are asked to turn it on.
Page 8 Region Settings Setting the region When you load the module for the first time it will ask you to select a region for the channels to be loaded from. Choose a region from the list and hit save when your done. The currently selected region will have an active radio button on the right. It is also shown at the bottom of the page as Current Region. Once you have the region it will be saved to the URC base station so you on ly need to do this once. Changing the region If the base station need to be changed in future you can change it at any time by selecting the options menu from the Home page and clicking the Set Region button.
