6MSD: Glance back & look ahead Fulvia Pilat 6MSD Meeting July 6, 2011
Outline Progress last week No Change Control Board meeting this week Lookout next 4 weeks Hot topics
Progress Wed June 29 - Wed July 6 Weeks: 8 down, 19 to go Highlights: Removal of Arc 7 9 magnets in the East Arc Magnet re work also focusing on the East Arc RF installation C100 leaks fixed, ready for cool down again FEL ¼ cryomodule also ready for cool down Cyber security attack: minimal impact on 6MSD activities so far Impact on magnet measurements?
4 weeks look ahead Still, potential decision point to rework Arc 5 Complete removal/rework/installation magnets WA and EA Arc 7 and 9 RFinstallation & testing LCW upgrades Civil work Phase 3, tunnel extension, photon beam pipe, BSY building. Continue LCW, work on tunnel extension and photon beam pipe Peppo installation Halls Facilities: TEDF, PSS, repair FEL stairs, maintenance
4 week look ahead hot topics CRYOMODULES C100 production and installation schedule Micro phonics Task force : results data analysis +engineering solutions Impact on 12 GeV Project plans Installation and operations of R100 and Admiral Meeting to discuss and define a plan. Civil Phase 3 nominal 8 days delay on schedule, probably 2 5 days in reality, effort in place to minimize delays (impact on PSS certs, start up with beam)
PM&IP 6MSD 7/06/11 Weekly Progress Meeting (7/01/11 Data) Report #8
PM&IP Schedule Issues: Hall D Phase 3 Tunnel Extension is ~5 Days behind schedule. Cryomodules??? Resource issues: None at this time.
PM&IP Other Schedule Information at https://www.jlab.org/6msd_integrated_schedule/schedules/ Four Week Look Ahead - Shows all activities that have started that are not complete and any activities due to start in the next four weeks Critical Path Shows all MUST activities that have 2 days or less float. Schedule Variance - Shows all MUST activities that are not 100% complete and that the Start/Finish dates have slipped by at least 5 days.
