PRODUCTION TEAM LISA NG - DIRECTOR Lisa Ng (nee Killeen) has been a Phoenix Ensemble member for the last 15 years and is currently on the Phoenix board of directors. Lisa has a great deal of experience in community theatre and has directed a number of shows for Phoenix including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Lisa has been performing in community theatre since her debut performance in Agnes of God at the Brisbane Arts Theatre Festival in 1998, for which she won best supporting actress. Lisa is proud to be a tutor with the Phoenix Young Performers. In her time at Phoenix Lisa has performed in a number of fantastic shows. Her favourites Include Double Bourbon the original work of local playwright Paula Weston, Murphy s Law, The Secret Garden and South Pacific. NICK NG - MUSICAL DIRECTOR Nick is an experienced musician, performer and musical director, having acted as MD across a range of theatre productions for over 15 years. He was the joint winner of the best Musical Director category of the Gold Coast Theatre Awards for Phoenix s production of Little Shop of Horrors, and has also acted as musical director of a large number of Phoenix productions, including the Oneders, I m too sexy for the 90s, Sweeney Todd, Avenue Q, the Full Monty, the Sound of Music, South Pacific, Sweet Charity, Chess, Murphy s Law (which he co-wrote), Cats and Oliver. LAURA BAKER - CHOREOGRAPHER As a regular Phoenix performer and choreographer, Laura has done so many shows in the past 20ish years that she has lost track. In her regular life, Laura is a high school teacher, and her other passion is competitive cheerleading. Recent shows include Xanadu (Calliope) & Annie (Choreographer). She cannot wait to get stuck into this exciting celebration!

ABOUT PHOENIX Unassumingly nestled within Beenleigh showgrounds, Phoenix Ensemble has been producing award-winning theatre for 25 years. From intimate small-cast shows to more elaborate Broadway-style show stoppers The Tin Shed has been a heart of the community for a quarter of a century and has no plans to stop any time soon! Phoenix Ensemble presents a unique theatre experience in the Pavilion Theatre or what has affectionately become known as The Tin Shed. This intimate theatre accommodates 90 people in comfortable raked seating giving every patron an up close and personal experience. Our shows both rehearse and perform at this theatre, which is located within the Beenleigh Showgrounds, James Street, Beenleigh. Phoenix Ensemble s aim is to produce an eclectic mix of shows from family favourites to shows that push the envelope of musical theatre. They have won countless awards and are regularly nominated in the Gold Coast Arts Palm Awards. Cast members must become members to participate in our shows. Rehearsal materials and costumes are provided and all participants are covered by our Voluntary Workers Personal Accident Insurance. You will receive more information upon acceptance. ABOUT XXV This show is not your typical show - it s a celebration of 25 years of excellence in the performing arts featuring a medley of music, and paying tribute to the members who have helped to create theatre magic in the little tin shed. From Sondheim to Lloyd-Webber and Tom Kitt to The Full Monty - this show will have a little something for everyone to get their teeth stuck into and is not just for previous Phoenix Ensemble Members - but brand new people looking to get into Musical Theatre too!
