Our customers are going online and connecting in more ways than ever before. AT&T has a long commitment to connecting Americans and we re working hard to deploy the networks our customers demand. From 2008 through 2013, AT&T invested more than $119 billion in the U.S. more than any other public company. As of end of year 2013, we employed more than 243,000 people worldwide more than half are union represented. We plan to continue our commitment to the U.S. through our Project Velocity IP (VIP) investment plan. With Project VIP, we expect to: o Expand and enhance our wireline IP broadband network to 57 million customer locations in our wireline service area by year-end 2015 o Deploy fiber expected to reach 1 million additional business customer locations in AT&T s wireline service area by year-end 2015 o Reach 99 percent of customer locations in wireline service area with highspeed IP Internet access via IP wireline and/or 4G LTE o Be substantially complete with our 4G LTE network by summer 2014 3
To further meet our customers needs, we re looking to expand AT&T U-verse with GigaPower SM across the U.S. The proposed plans would extend AT&T U-verse with GigaPower SM to up to 100 cities and municipalities nationwide, including 25 major metropolitan areas. WHO CAN GET IT? WHEN WILL IT BE AVAILABLE? Arlington 2015-2016 Timeline & Discussion We are working as quickly as possible to bring it to the area. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a comprehensive town map of the U-verse with GigaPower footprint; however, the service locator tool will be live on the day of launch which will let your residents know whether U-verse with GigaPower will be available at their addresses. 10 In the meantime, residents interested in U-verse with AT&T GigaPower can always visit www.att.com/gigapowercities for more info and select the Keep Me Updated box to receive more information from AT&T on timing and availability.
