Registration for Competition Entrants Please note: 1. If you wish to enter for a group competition, each group member must fill out a separate registration form! (with the exception of category 11, school orchestras ) 2. Please do not forget to fill in the name of your group, the title of the piece, the name of the composer and the length of the piece. 3. Competition entrants have automatic free admission to all competitions (audience). 4. If a competitor wishes to make use of the piano accompaniment offered by the festival organisation (category 1 and 2), the entry fee is increased by 40,00. 5. When registering for categories 1 or 2, all competitors must at the same time send a copy of the sheet music for their own-choice piece to the festival organisers. These will be passed on to the appropriate panel of jurors before the festival, so that they can prepare themselves in advance. This ensures that the judging can be conducted fairly and objectively. Solo Competitions: 1. Solo chromatic My own-choice piece is less than 8 minutes in length. Entry fee: 20,00. The festival organisation should provide piano accompaniment. Yes 2. 12. Open category Any given combination, however: at least one harmonica (lead-instrument); with or without accompaniment instruments. Attention: it is not allowed to participate in the Open category if the instrumental combination fits into an official offered category, e.g. trio with chromatic harmonica, bass and chord > have to play in Cat. 8; or chromatic solo with / without accompaniment > have to play in Cat. 1 or Cat. 2 or Cat. 3 My / our own-choice piece is less than 12 minutes in length. Accommodation: To ensure that our guests will have a pleasant stay here in Trossingen during the World Harmonica Festival 2013 we have engaged a specialized travel agency to organize your accommodation wishes / requirements. Please ensure that they receive your room reservations no later than Aug. 31 st, 2013 otherwise the agency cannot guarantee accommodation in the category which you have specified. They will do their best to fill reservations received after this date, but will have to allocate rooms on the basis of what is still available, which may not be in the desired category. Please note that room reservations are binding; in the case of cancellations or alterations received after Aug. 31 st, 2013 the travel agency will charge a cancellation fee.
