Viini koolkonda esindava August Friedrich Oelenhainzi (1745 1804) loodud portreel on kuulus, põlatud ja taas avastatud valgustusajastu geenius Johann Caspar Lavater (1741 1801). Tema omaaegset menuteost Füsiognoomilisi fragmente uurides saab selgeks, miks läks käibele fraas Ära kunagi mine seltskonda maskita!. Pildi allkiri: Friedrich August Oelenhainz. Johann Caspar Lavateri portree. Loodud ajavahemikus 1788 1791. Õli lõuendil. Eesti Kunstimuuseum Kadrioru kunstimuuseum. The portrait painted by August Friedrich Oelenhainz (1745 1804), a representative of the Viennese school of painting, depicts Johann Caspar Lavater (1741 1801), a famous, disgraced and rediscovered genius of the Age of Enlightenment. When examining Essays on Physiognomy, his successful work from that era, it becomes clear why the phrase Never be seen in company without a mask! became popular.
