This concert celebrates the 946 Carnegie Hall concert and will feature much of the music from the original performance. Two extended works were premiered including Ralph Burns Summer Sequence and Igor Stravinsky s Ebony Concerto. Those works will be performed in their entirety along with other first Herd classics such as Blowin Up a Storm, Bijou, Wildroot and more. This special Sunday Brunch event features two all star bands, side by side in a re-creation of that historic event. Barnet called on his latest charts like Bop City and Claude Reins while Woody hit back with Four Brothers and Early Autumn.
