Roles are available for 10 Academy Students. Auditions are open to Spring enrolled Academy Students 8th grade and older. Please prepare a 32 bar cut from a Stephen Sondheim musical. Have sheet music in the proper key and have it double-sided in a 3-ring binder. An accompanist will be provided. FOR YOUR BENEFIT, YOU CAN EMAIL MR. JASON YOUR SHEET MUSIC AND HE WILL FORWARD IT TO ACCOMPANIST SO THEY CAN PRACTICE PLAYING YOUR MUSIC. PLEASE EMAIL BEFORE MAY 4 th. Auditionees must download and fully complete audition forms from Academy Website before auditions. Do not come to auditions with out these already filled out!!! There will not be any forms at the auditions. Cast of Characters Cinderella A young, earnest maiden who is constantly mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters. Vocal range top: G4 Vocal range bottom: B2 Jack's Mother Browbeating and weary, Jack's protective mother who is independent, bold, and strong-willed. Vocal range top: Gb5 Vocal range bottom: Bb3 The Baker A harried and insecure baker who is simple and loving, yet protective of his family. He wants his wife to be happy and is willing to do anything to ensure her happiness but refuses to let others fight his battles. She leads a simple, yet satisfying life and is very low-maintenance yet proactive in her endeavors.
