CONCEPT: Walla Walla Rock Camp is a 1-week intensive music experience designed to provide interaction between young musicians and music enthusiasts in a real-life production setting. Some campers will work together as a band, choose a band name, select and arrange songs, write and record music, and learn how to promote their group. Other campers work together on the production side of music such as video and other multimedia, journalism and marketing, merchandise, and the design and setup of stage and sound equipment. The experience will culminate with a free live concert performance for friends, family, and the community to see what Walla Walla s future Rock n Rollers will look and sound like. CAMPERS: The camp is open to students in grades 7-12 (students entering 7th grade okay, but no 2018 high school graduates). Students participating in the music focus of the camp should want to learn more about playing an instrument and/or singing. All Instruments are welcome, no experience necessary!
