Nestled in the Hollywood Hills, the open-air amphitheatre is intimate at just under 1,200 seats; no patron is more than 96 feet away from the stage. In 2017, the Ford Theatres completed a $72+ million renovation and restoration project designed to enhance the guest and performer experiences. Owned by the County of Los Angeles and located in a 32-acre County regional park, the Ford Theatres are run in partnership with the Department of Parks and Recreation and the Ford Theatre Foundation.

LIGHTING The Lighting Plot designed for the Ford Theatres is a hybrid repertory plot. Included in the design are multiple systems of conventional front light, LED diagonal front light, conventional side gobo washes and LED side light, LED back light and moving light specials. In addition, the lighting system offers Front of House spot lights and LED fixtures to highlight the outdoor scenery and architecture. All lighting fixtures, consoles and spot lights on site must be hung, focused and operated exclusively by Ford Theatres crew.

DRESSING ROOMS & GREENROOM The Ford Theatres lower level offers spacious areas with modern amenities for your artists and staff. FEATURES Comfortable green room with a refrigerator and sink. Two private dressing rooms with attached bathrooms. Large group dressing room with partitions to accommodate multiple small groups. Additional bathrooms and showers located nearby. PA and video monitor system.
AUDIENCE AMENITIES
ENTRYWAY The entryway from the Box Office features a gradual stair climb with ADA compliant winding paths and gathering places where patrons can dine and mingle before the show. Patrons can bring their own picnic (beer and wine allowed) or pick up from the Ford's Terrace Café or Grab & Go Market. Patrons can dine in our entryway gardens, on the new terrace (The Zev) or in their seat. Plaza and terrace spaces can be configured to meet the needs of receptions, meet-andgreets, merchandise sales and more.
EDISON PLAZA The Edison Plaza offers space for up to 100 guests for cocktail style receptions. The area is shaded by several trees and is adjacent to a pleasant water feature. Edison Plaza is located in the entryway gardens area, next to the Grab & Go Market. Patrons encounter Edison Plaza on the way up to the amphitheatre level.
ZEV YAROSLAVSKY TERRACE (THE ZEV) Completed in 2017, The Zev, with its sweeping views of the Cahuenga Pass, offers an additional area for up to 150 patrons to picnic before the show. The Ford Terrace Café is located on The Zev.
CONCESSIONS & RECEPTIONS The Grab & Go Market on Edison Plaza has a selection of snacks, salads and sandwiches, as well as beer, wine, water and soda. The Ford Terrace Café on The Zev, has an expanded menu consisting of hot food items and a full bar. Concessions and food for private receptions are supplied by the Ford Theatres concessionaire, Crumble Catering. Menus are available upon request. Crumble Catering owns a full liquor license to serve alcohol on site at the Ford. PARKING The Ford parking lots are operated exclusively by the Hollywood Bowl. Parking is stacked for summer season shows and there is no early exit. For evening shows, the Ford also offers non-stacked parking at an off-site parking lot one mile north of the theatre. The Ford provides a shuttle for patrons to and from the parking lot and theatre. Contact staff for 2018 parking rates.
SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES The Ford offers the following potential sponsor benefits for your event. Placement on Electronic Billboard 1.9 million cars drive through the Cahuenga Pass each week, according to CalTrans The LED electronic sign measures 5 ft x 15 ft. The billboard is operated continuously, 24 hours/7 days a week. Value of visibility is $8,000/week per each frame. Each rental event has the ability to place four frames on the electronic sign, plus one frame with buy ticket information. Frames appears on the electronic sign for seven days leading up to the event. At least two of the four frames must promote the show. The sign is restricted from alcohol, firearms or tobacco company advertisements. Placement on FordTheatres.org If you choose the option to have an event page on the Ford website, event sponsor logos may be displayed on your event page, with the exception of liquor, firearm or tobacco companies. The Ford is a County of Los Angeles institution and its website is subject to County advertising and hotlink policy.
SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES (CONT.) Recognition at the Theatre Banners Banners must be free standing vinyl retractable banner stand displays. No banners will be adhered to the venue. Gobos Sponsor logos may be projected on the two towers flanking the stage before and after the show and at intermission. Tickets If you choose to use the Ford s box office services, sponsor information may be added to the print-at-home and printed tickets. Product Promotion Display, sales and/or sampling at the theatre on performance nights can be arranged but must be approved in advance by the Executive Director and Ford Concessionaire.
