June 5 & 6 at 7:00pm Bluett Theater, St. Joseph s University Directed by Janine Merolla Co-Choreographed by Nicole Battestilli Musical Direction by Dave Snyder AUDITION PACKET A Year With Frog and Toad KIDS auditions are for grades 1-4 Tuition: Member $375 Non-Member: $395 This packet includes: audition form which is to be completed and handed in at your audition audition selection recommendations important information about time commitment to this show Audition Info Auditions will be held on Monday, January 12 & Tuesday, January 13 from 4-6pm at Wolf PAC Callbacks will be held on Thursday, January 15th from 4:00pm-6:00pm. Parents will be contacted on Wednesday, January 14 th with more information. Those auditioning will be asked to Introduce themselves with: o My name is, I am in grade, and I will be singing today. Sing one of the following songs: o Any Disney or Musical Theatre song** (HIGHLY recommend), Twinkle Twinkle Little Star or Happy Birthday **Only a verse and one chorus or just one chorus is necessary, no need to prepare the whole song; Please note that all songs will be performed a capella Read a line of dialogue from the script (lines are included in this packet). Students may be asked to read the lines with various emotions. Please note that these lines do NOT have to be memorized. Be prepared to answer a few, simple questions about yourself (i.e. what is your favorite song?; Have you ever danced in a show before, etc.). The answers to these questions will not affect casting. It is simply to get to know the student better. REHEARSAL & SHOW INFO Wolf PAC promises a positive, professional theatre experience which can only be accomplished with your positive and professional participation. Rehearsals for this production will take place on Tuesdays at Wolf PAC. IMPORTANT: There will be 2 Casts for this musical. Cast A will rehearse on Tuesdays (Jan 20 th May 26 th, 2015) from 4-5pm Cast B will rehearse on Tuesdays (Jan 20 th May 26 th, 2015) from 5:15- **NOTE: Wolf PAC reserves the right to have only one cast if there are not enough children to fill the roles. Rehearsal time for one cast will be Tuesdays from 4:45-6pm** Dress Rehearsals at St. Joseph s University: Cast A: Monday, June 1 & Wednesday, June 3 from 4pm-6pm Cast B: Tuesday, June 2 & Thursday, June 4 from 4pm-6pm *Students MUST be present for the dress rehearsals. This will be our only opportunity to run the show in our performance space. Not attending these rehearsals will affect participation in the play. Show Details A Year with Frog and Toad KIDS Book and Lyrics by Willie Reale Music by Robert Reale Based on the books by Arnold Lobel This whimsical musical follows a year in the life of Frog and Toad. While they may seem like they have nothing in common, Frog and Toad teach everyone the true meaning of friendship. CAST OF CHARACTERS: FROG TOAD SNAILS BIRDS LIZARDS MOLES SQUIRRELS TURTLES

FROG: Toad, your alarm clock is ringing. Wake up. It s spring. TOAD: Frog, what time is it? My clock is broken. FROG: It s ten o clock. TOAD: Ten o clock is my sad time of day. FROG: Why? TOAD: Because ten o clock is when the mail should come and I have never gotten a letter. FROG: And? TOAD: I have never gotten a letter.
