The organization donates lego sets and mini figures to children that are in the Boston Children s Hospital. Jake Stahl, a Trumpet student of Peter McHugh, and the rest of the Chelmsford High School Pit Orchestra won this year's TAMY award for Best Student Orchestra for the show Anything Goes! 2

Where Are They Now? Nathan Sayer started studying at Music Elements when he was 10 years old. He took Piano lessons with Jamie Lonto and at the age of 14, he studied Saxophone with Marlana Williams. Nathan, son of Ronald Sayer and Anne Worth, takes six Advanced Placement courses and has been inducted into the National Honor Society and the Tri-M Music Honor Society. Since freshman year, he has been active in the Pit Orchestra, Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band in school, as well as the All-Town Wind Ensemble. Nathan is active in Destination Imagination. Meet Our Instructors Stephen Colby Currently the instrumental music teacher at Lawrence Academy (Groton, MA), Stephen Colby is in his third year of living, teaching, and performing in Central Massachusetts. A native of Laconia, NH, Steve received his Bachelor's degree in Music Education (K-12) from Plymouth State University in the beautiful White Mountains of Plymouth, NH, where he had the pleasure of studying woodwinds, piano, and tenor voice under the tutelage of Dr. Rik Pfenninger, Debbie Gibson, Aubrie Dionne, Dr. Carleen Graff, and Dr. Dan Perkins, respectively. As a woodwind doubler, Steve has performed in Pit Orchestras for many different professional, high school, and collegiate productions from as far north as Interlakes Summer Theatre (Meredith, NH) to as far south as the Calderwood Pavilion at the Boston Center for the Arts. As a saxophonist, he has had the pleasure of working as a sideman and can be heard on recordings with Amasa Hines (Little Rock, AR), Soulution (Little Rock, AR), Fitra, and The New Hampshire Master Chorale (Concord, NH) among others. He is excited to join this wonderful community of musicians and students as we all strive to bring about personal growth through the honorable pursuit of musical excellence. Steve teaches piano, sax, clarinet, and flute. 5

Bowl for a Cause Location: Wamesit Lanes 434 Main St Tewksbury, MA Date: June 10, 2018 Time: 9:00am 3:00pm On Sunday, June 10th from 9am to 3pm, Wamesit Lanes partners with the Tewksbury & Wilmington Police Departments for a very special fundraiser, Cops for Kids with Cancer. The day will feature bowling teams with a police officer, golf competitions, cornhole tournament, BBQ, silent auction and Touch a Truck. Touch a Truck will have police cars, fire trucks, motorcycles, K-9 s and more! All money collected from the day will go to Cops for Kids with Cancer, a registered 501(c)(3). Sign up your team today for bowling and/or the cornhole tournament. Tickets purchased are per lane (up to 5 participants) 7

Concert at the Sampras Pavillion Date: Every Monday till September 3 Location: Sampras Pavillion 500 Pawtucket Blvd Lowell, MA 01854 Time: 7:00pm Free event and good for all ages Organized and sponsored by Heritage Farms Ice Cream & Restaurant. There is a free outdoor concert every Monday till September. Before the concert there is also a car show at Heritage Farms! 8
