These city-wide, multi-arts events showcase local, regional, national and international talent in venues throughout Charleston, WV. Each year, FestivALL attracts thousands of attendees from West Virginia and beyond to enjoy events in music, dance, theatre, visual and performance art, street entertainment, interactive experiences for children and adults, and more. Each of the FestivALL Art Fairs is juried to present the highest quality fine art, furniture, glass, jewelry, pottery, photography, and more from artists throughout West Virginia and beyond, and the summer fair is one of the largest of its kind in the state. The Capitol Street Art Fair (June 23 & 24) hosts an average of 90 artists, on a 3-block area of Capitol Street in the heart of downtown Charleston. The event includes an adjacent Children s Art Fair and 3 street stages featuring hours of free entertainment. The Harvest Art Fair (FestivALL Fall in October) welcomes around 30 artists to a more intimate setting in the elegant and historical Woman s Club on the East End of Charleston. Major Performance Art/Theatre Event. FestivALL values bringing unique, quality performance experiences to Charleston stages. Most recently, this included the magical Air Play show, bringing to life the very air we breathe through silent comedy, performance and larger-than-life visual and fabric art performances. Other past performances have included Italy s theatrical multi-media and interactive Compagnia TPO, and the intricate and the magical Cashore Marionettes. Past artists include Drive-By Truckers, Carolina Chocolate Drops, Parker Millsap, The Steel Wheels, Seratones, and Keller Williams. The 2018 concert will also feature alternative venues and structures to help move music lovers around town for a total alt-music experience. A City Comes ALIVE! $6,000 Local Theatre Package. This unique multi-event sponsorship offers co-presenting status and recognition at each performance. Other local theatre that in the past has included LimeLight Theatre Company, Alban Arts Center, Appalachian Artists Collective, Children s Theatre of Charleston and more in indoor and outdoor spaces. $5,000 Community, Spirit, Love of the Arts in All Forms FestivALL attendees came from all over the U.S. Attendees stayed an average of 3 NIGHTS Sunrise Carriage Trail Leaf Walk. This.65 mile walking trail will have musicians, dancers and actors performing against the backdrop of fall foliage for this FestiivALL Fall event in October 2018. $2,500
OPPORTUNITIES (CONTINUED) Mountain Stage. This internationally famous radio music show, produced in West Virginia and distributed by NPR, can be heard every week on more than 150 stations across America, and around the world via NPR Music and mountainstage.org. The FestivALL Edition will take place on a Sunday during FestivALL 2018, June 15-24, and the FestivALL FALL concert will take place October 2018. Recorded in front of a live audience, Mountain Stage features performances from seasoned legends and emerging stars in genres ranging from folk, blues, and country; to indie rock, synth pop, world music, alternative, and beyond. $5,000 each or both for $7,500 Three Capitol Art Fair Street Stages. Street stages at the Children s Art Fair in front of the Library and at the Capitol Street Art Fair at Taylor Books and Davis Park will feature musicians and variety entertainment for two days, Saturday and Sunday, June 23 & 24, when Capitol Street closes for the fairs. (These sponsorships include renaming the stage in the sponsor s name). $3,000 each Art Parade. This parade will take place on Saturday, June 16, starting at 10:00 am on Kanawha Blvd. A vibrant celebration of the arts, the parade will make its way up Capitol Street, ending at Capitol Market. $1,500 Dance in Davis Park. Dance in Davis Park offers enchanting site-specific dance performances by Carli Mareneck and friends of the Trillium Performing Arts in Lewisburg, WV. These magical pieces feature colorful and original costume and sets designs for a FREE outdoor performance that can only be seen in this time and space. $3,000 Art Walk Music. Musicians and street performers entertain during a walking tour of Charleston s finest art galleries on Thursday, June 21, 5:00 to 8:00 pm. WV Authors Roundtable & Reading. Join Mountain State authors for a free panel discussion, reading, and reception. Poet Laureate Marc Harshman curates and hosts this panel which in the past has included poets, children s authors, non-fiction writers and more all with a West Virginia connection. 2018 authors TBD. Oral History Project. This project produced by Eric Douglas aims to bring the stories of the Kanawha Valley to life. Each year, Douglas collects oral histories from interviewees (open to the public). These are recorded, given back to the interviewees, and produced into documentaries which can be heard during FestivALL.

This series, produced by Jeff Shirley, presents 3 unique professionals discussing their first, favorite and future works, revealing a side not often seen by the public.
