Bluewater Media filmed generic b-roll and lifestyle footage at Pier 60 in Clearwater. CMR Studios shot two 15-second spots for Sam s Club MasterCard at a Sam s Club gas station in St. Petersburg. TELEVISION Optomen Productions shot beach b-roll for an episode of Scorned on Discovery ID. WTTA Great 38 shot a series of promos for the upcoming launch of The Walking Dead at Fort De Soto beach. PRINT Portrait Scene Photography shot family portrait sessions at Fort De Soto Park and Philippe Park. VIDEO Pocket Protein.com shot a co-founder providing fitness tips at Vinoy Park for its digital content library. Greintime Productions shot a lifestyle/property video including b-roll of St. Petersburg points of interest for a Loews Don CeSar hotel branding video. DOCUMENTARY Clearwater Marine Aquarium filmed an actress giving a spoken introduction at Clearwater Beach to use in the Winter, The Dolphin That Can documentary.
LEADS & RESPONSES Fielded inquiry from Michael Churton, he from needs grocery store location for Unraveled TV series for ID Discovery, a NBC Universal cable channel, contacted multiple locations, facilitating shoot dates July 27-Aug. 3rd, 2014. Fielded inquiry from Shemsije Zeqiri, Producer, National Geographic, Wall to Wall Productions, about b-roll filming and permitting for Clearwater for Nat Geo documentary shooting in August. Fielded Inquiry Urban Adventure Racing,Reality TV series shooting and syndication discussion. Fielded inquiry about Japanese commercial filming with a drone along boardwalk at Treasure Island, however FAA will not allow us to permit for Drone filming so commercial is lost. They're taking it to Bahamas. Spoke with Louisiana based Producer about variety of film projects for area, has produced over 42 films many in Louisiana. Spoke with Los Angeles based Producers and Film Funding group, discussing 4 different feature films for production. Met with Castaway studios to discuss his new studio, partnering on digital media conference and creating a large scale event on par with SXSW. Met with St. Pete chamber member to discuss creating film fund for film projects. Discuss and connect with local businesses about partnering to grow Film SPC brand and resources for shooting locally. Met with local Producer. Discussion of $9 million feature to be shot locally, locations, possible casting, etc. Met with Golf Network, discussed creating digital media web content for Golf Network in Pinellas. Fielded inquiry about shooting at local home as potential location for a German reality TV series. Reached out to Producer William Stribling about shooting new film here, he's shooting in PA due to tax credits. Fielded calls from Producer regarding using Sand Key Park as location for a charity event on 10-Aug. Inquired about our permitting process for the event which will be filmed &televised nationwide. Referred to County Parks dept. to begin county Special Event process. Fielded inquiry for Holiday cooking show looking for house, shoot October 3-5. Met with HSN to discuss partnerships and digital media marketing.
MARKETING & OPERATIONS Spoke to Margaret Murray, Executive Director, about expanding our participation in Tampa International Gay and Lesbian Film Fest in St. Pete. Spoke to Oliver Blokland, FT Agency, about bringing Chinese celebrities to area to promote open up China market more, PR and funding opportunities. Discussed with Sonia C. Lawson, reality TV series shooting and syndication discussion. Connected Hollywood Producer and Racing family, spoke about creating new reality TV series based around racecar / racetrack family. Created and distributed monthly newsletter to subscribers to keep them informed of local projects, available locations, and other related issues. Compiled June monthly report for TDC meeting.
