When I am feeling burdened by too many tasks, one of my favorite hymns often comes to mind. It was written by William Cowper in 1773: God moves in a mysterious way his wonders to perform; He plants his footsteps in the sea and rides upon the storm. Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take; the clouds ye so much dread are big with mercy and shall break in blessings on your head. There are too many additional verses to print here, but what a powerful and encouraging message in just that much! And, if you are familiar with Alice Parker s setting of these words for choir, brass and harp in Melodious Accord, then you know her music provides more than enough strength to ride out any storm. Take courage at these busy times of the year -- the work we do inspires, heals and gives meaning to so many persons every week. Inside this newsletter, you will find the RSVP form for our April program, which is dinner and a recital at the Palladium. This is a trichapter event, so please plan to attend and get to know some of your colleagues from all sides of Tampa Bay. Bradley Swope, Dean
