ADJECTIVE A word that describes a noun

Let s find adjectives together. 1. Two old prospectors and a weary mule trudged across the desert. 2. The loyal fans cheered their team in the final game. 3. Their lunch consisted of homemade soup and English muffins. 4. Our European guests were weary after a long trip. 5. Frank looked ridiculous in that baggy costume.

Underline the adjective and draw an arrow to the noun it modifies (describes). Write in your notes. The marble statue was pale and dramatic against the dark velvet curtains. The feathery fins of the fish drifted in the clear blue water. The house, dreary and uninviting, has not been lived in for seventeen years.
