Desk jottings Another month has come and gone and our second season is underway. An Agatha Christie murder mystery that has proved extremely popular over the decades. And Then There Were None directed by Susan Vincent is already pretty well booked out. It is certainly worth the visit if only to see the magnificent set designed by Robert Vincent. I am awestruck. I am putting on my big girl panties and fessing up to a huge senior moment. Shame on me. At last month s committee meeting I suggested that I cook breakfast for the Busy Bee, but everyone said no. What I didn t remember was that it was decided that I do lunch instead. I spent the Busy Bee sorting keys, answering questions, having little meetings as you do etc. At the end of the Busy Bee people started departing and I followed suit. Here I have to apologise to everyone, especially some lovely new ladies who have joined the Wardrobe team, who were expecting lunch. My humble apologies. Please forgive me, I had no idea until the next meeting. Red face. There s always a silver lining...i am now odds on favourite for the coveted Golden Gazzunder Award for 2016. The walk of shame is bitter sweet. We are pleased to announce that the 2 vacant seasons have been filled with Fred Petersen and I stepping in. For those who have been hanging out for the final Tomb play, I ll be directing Prepare to Meet Thy Tomb by Norman Robbins in the July/August slot, and Fred has been dragged out of retirement and brought another thriller with a twist to the table with Shock by Brian Clemens in the September/October slot. The audition notice for Prepare to Meet Thy Tomb is in this newsletter.
